I'd like to give you guys and girls some advice about your new shows as far as I see it.
1. When posting that you are doing a show I believe I'd put that on the promote it board
2. Since most of your programs are inside the Winamp program instead of just posting "hot new radio station" say how that station can be accessed. Links do not work for all prospective listeners, nor does stating the URL for your program. If that program is inside Winamp state that the listener must open winamp, select play and URL, then type your address inside. You can't assume your listeners understand that they must use Winamp to hear your show, or even know what that program is or does.
3. If your program is not a Winamp production then state clearly how to access it. Ask several friends to see if they can use your instructions before posting, or check yourself trying different methods to do so. I believe if a prospective listener has the slightest trouble accessing your program, they will simply not try harder just to listen to some broadcaster they haven't heard in the first place
4. Say thank you people in your promotional add. After you have stated the facts, and the proper access method say thank you for listening in advance. Ego and believing your the hottest thing since radio broadcasting started is wonderful, but your prospective listener must decide this. Also offer to help your listener find your show, or get it lonched properly.
I do try to listen to as many of your programs as I can access when I have the time and this is the reason I've decided to write to you, so you understand things from your prospective listeners prospective.
